The raw material used to make Tagua Items is gathered from a palm tree nut native to Ecuador.

This tree is also known as the Ecuadorian Ivory Palm and/or the Vegetable Ivory.
Vegetable since its harvesting doesn’t harm any animals or the rainforests where it is gathered.
